COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Entries for the South India Short Film Club short film competition are open for everyone. Participants under the legal age must submit a consent letter from their parent or guardian.
The Short Film can be based on any subject or concept. We are currently not accepting Animated and/or Documentary Films.
The short film can be in any language. However, all films must include sub-titles in English.
The total runtime of the Short Film, including opening & closing credits, should strictly be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 6 minutes.
All content used in the short film must be either owned or licensed. If any copyrighted material is used in the film, the participant must have the permission and submit a copy to the Festival Organizers. Any Copyright violation found in the content it will not be considered for the competition. Organizers will have full authority to disqualify the film at any point of time if such violation found even after shortlisting the movie.
The Last Date for Submissions is 27 March 2022. Only shortlisted movies will be considered for the competition. If your film is shortlisted it will be informed to you by email.
After 27th March 2022, we’ll begin uploading the files in our website and on our YouTube channel –https://www.youtube.com/goodhopemovies
Short films must be uploaded to our WeTransfer account available at https://sisfilmclub.com or through other online services like Google Drive or Dropbox and must be made available for download to the competition organizers. YouTube & Vimeo links are not accepted.
Only Short Films produced & completed after 31st October 2022 are eligible for the festival.
Short Films that were submitted for entry into the other domestic or international Short Film Festival are not eligible for entry.
The Entry Fee is Absolutely Free (There is no charge for submission)
Multiple entries from the same participant are accepted, but each film must be accompanied by a separate form and entry fee.
The South India Short Film Club Short Film competition 2022 will be undertaken as an online-only event. The screening of all officially selected short films will be done online on https://www.youtube.com/goodhopemovies youtube channel. Participating short films will be made available for streaming to public audience and the files will NOT be shared to any other websites.
GOODHOPE Media Productions reserves the rights to copy or use the material submitted by the participants in any form, online or offline, for the competition promotional and archival purposes. Note that your entire short film will be shared on our https://www.youtube.com/goodhopemovies channel online with out any intimation or asking for your permission. This will remain on our channel for next 1year. After an Year you may request the organizers to remove your movie from the channel at any point of time.
The short films that are selected for final screening will not be allowed to withdraw under any circumstances until the festival is over.
Judges’ decision will be final and binding. Judgment will be based on the Judges Recommendation, Number Of Views, No of Likes, No of Comments and Audience Retention on our YouTube Channel.
Festival Organizers and GOODHOPE Media Productions reserve the right to change / modify / alter any rule or its part or event of this competition anytime.
